Michael Hunter for Twists Glass handbag vase

This unusual vase was made by Michael Hunter for Twists Glass in 2015. It is shaped like a handbag with a black glass applied handle and a black glass strap "fastener". The bag comprises 12 canes of green glass, 12 of blue and 8 of black glass (alternating 1 black, 3 green, 1 black, 3 blue) encased in clear glass. The base is scratch signed "M Hunter Twists 15" and has the Twists Glass studio label. Charming & quirky they have only been made in a very small number.
